Every thread
tells a story.
Talking-Thread is a slow embroidery house — hoops, linens and keepsakes stitched by hand, one name and one motif at a time.
Five ways to bring
a motif home.
Every collection begins as a sketch in our Mumbai studio before it becomes a hoop, a linen, or a name you can keep.
Stitched by hand,
never rushed.
Talking-Thread began at a kitchen table in Mumbai with a needle, a hoop, and a name someone wanted to keep forever. Today, every order still passes through the same hands.
Each piece takes a team of artisans between six and eighteen hours, worked entirely in silk and cotton thread, before it's pressed, checked, and packed in hand-wrapped tissue.
